- Select A Color To Find Related
Colors:
1) Enter the RGB or HEX values of the color into the
text boxes on the left side of the Main Window
2) Click on any color swatch on the Finch Color Manager
3) Click on a color from the palette at the bottom of
the Main Window
4) Pick a color from anywhere on the screen either by
clicking the "eye-dropper" icon in the toolbar or by
pressing F3

- Select Color Matching Mode:
Clicking on Adjust => Select Scheme Mode in the menu and
selecting a Color Matching Mode. Different sets of harmonious colors
will be displayed once you select the Scheme Mode.

- Pop Up RGB Sliders:
Double-click on any of the RGB text boxes to pop up a slider to
adjust the amount of Red, Green, or Blue wanted.

- Add Colors to the Favorites
Window:
Drag the desired color from its swatch and drop it in any of space
of the swatches on the Favorites Window. Also, you can right-click
on any color, highlight the "Add to Favorites," and then
select which space(1-5) on the Favorites Window you wish to send it
to.

- Using the Screen Color Picker:
Either click on the "eye dropper" icon in the toolbar, go
to View => Screen Color Picker in the menu, or just
press F3. Then you can pick a color from anywhere on the
screen. There will be two boxes at the top of the screen. The one on
the top will zoom in the area of around the mouse, the bottom
one will show exactly the color you selected. And clicking once will
select the color under the mouse and bring back the Finch Color
Manager.

- Lighten or Darken All Colors:
Click on the bright yellow or dark grey icons, respectively, on the
toolbar. Also, you can click on Adjust => Lighten or Darken
on the menu, or press Ctrl-L or Ctrl-D.

- Copying HEX Values:
To copy the HEX value of any color, right-click on the desired color
and click on "Copy HEX" in the menu that pops up. Also,
you can click on Edit => Copy Hex. This copies the HEX
value of the color to the Windows clipboard.

- Make Selected Color Web Safe:
Click on the icon in the toolbar that looks like a globe with a
piece of paper in front of it. This will convert your selected color
to the nearest web safe match.

- View History of Colors:
Either click on the "Blue Book" icon in the tool bar, go
to View => Show History in the menu or press Ctrl-H.
This will pop up the History Window. Then you can see all of your
previous colors and select a color by clicking the "Select
Color" button.

- Using the Web Page Preview
Window:
Either click on the "webpage" icon in the tool bar, go to View =>
Show Web Preview, or just press F7. It will pop up. The
Web Page Preview Window is intended to be used as a tool to test what
colors will look like in a web page setting. The color of every
element of the mock-up page can be changed. One way to do this is to
simply drag the color that you want from its swatch on the Finch
Color Manager, and drop it on top of the element you wish to change
the color of. Alternatively, you will notice when you hold your
mouse over the preview window it turns into a paint bucket. You can
use this to "paint" each element to the selected color
simply by clicking in the preview window.

- Accessing Previously Used
Colors:
Click on the back arrow in the toolbar to move backwards in the
color history. You may also use the forward arrow to move forward
again to step through the color history. In addition, you can also
go to Edit => Undo or Redo.

- Using the Color Harmony
Window:
Either click on the "colorful bloom" icon in the tool bar,
go to View => Show Harmonies, or by pressing
F6. It will pop up a window that allows you to show either the
Triad, Analogous, Complementary or Split-Complementary harmonies
relating to the currently selected color. Right click on the desired
color to add it to the Favorites Window, copy the HEX value, or just
select the color.
